A selectable capacity option has recently become available for the woodprocessors. You can select SHORT or LONG on the display. In SHORT mode, a capacity increase of over 20% can be achieved for short cut lengths.
Operation is as follows:
The position of the pressblock is measured continuously. In the LONG mode, independently of the setting cut-off length, it makes the full movement. In SHORT mode, the pressblock only makes the set cut-off length plus 5 cm of free-fall space. This thoughrul function is performed by the PLC.
